*God’s Power Station*
Brick repeats itself, accumulates, creates a rhythm. The walls rise as solid masses, marked by narrow openings. From the outside, this architecture possesses the strength of an industrial building: a presence that seems to hold its own energy within.
Inside, that same energy becomes light. Colour moves across the surfaces, follows the ribs, alters the perception of weight. The structure remains clearly defined, rigorous, yet seems to grow lighter. The gaze follows the arches, returns to the walls, and is drawn upwards.
This is the transition I sought to make visible: the moment when matter, while retaining its physical substance, opens towards something beyond itself.
The name “God’s Power Station” thus takes on, for me, an intimate meaning: a place capable of transforming the strength of matter into an inner experience.
